Freddy the Fox Finds a Friend
Freddy the Fox loved to play—but always by himself.
He chased leaves, leapt over logs, and splashed in puddles. But deep down, Freddy felt a little lonely.
One day, he saw a shy hedgehog named Holly peeking from behind a bush. “Want to play?” Freddy asked.
“I’m too prickly,” Holly whispered.
Freddy smiled. “I don’t mind. We can roll pinecones!”
Holly laughed and joined in. They rolled pinecones, played hide-and-seek, and watched clouds float by.
From that day on, Freddy didn’t play alone anymore.
He learned that friends don’t have to be just like you—they just have to care.
